No! Anne Sansa Daly is not President John Dramani Mahama’s personal doctor

Factcenta has verified the authenticity of the screenshot and it’s contents and presents the facts below.

Verdict: False
Explanation
In determining the authenticity of the claim and the screenshot, Factcenta relied on two sources. Firstly, we used an online fake image detection software to check the authenticity of the viral screenshot. The results of the analysis showed that the viral image is fake, and computer generated.
Secondly, the minister of State in charge of government communications, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, in an interview Oyerepa Tv dismissed the claim that Anne Daly is the personal doctor of the president.
This is what he said.
“I have known President Mahama’s physician for several years. He is a very experienced doctor with many years in practice. This lady is nowhere near president Mahama, so it is never true that she was a personal physician to the president…I can tell you on authority she is not President Mahama’s physician. I know President Mahama’s physician very well, he is a learned and highly qualified medical practitioner. He has been with the president long before he became president”.
Background
Anne Sansa Daly has been the subject of recent public attention and controversy in Ghana following her appointment as a board member of National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). Prior to her appointment, she hosted a health and wellness program on GHOne TV, where she identified herself as “Dr. Anne Sansa Daly”. On May 28th 2025, President John Mahama revoked her appointment over concerns about her lack of a valid license to practice medicine in Ghana.
